Multiple expertises
under one roof

Working with a single partner ensures continuity, speed and a clear line between strategy and implementation. Our expertise is structured around three domains.
Trusted by leaders & partners across Europe, the Americas and Japan.

Disciplines

Strategic Consultancy

We help organizations navigate complex strategic questions. From defining direction to aligning stakeholders and translating ambition into concrete action.  Our approach starts with understanding the real question behind the request. Markets, organizations and political environments rarely move in straight lines. We bring structure, clarity and direction where uncertainty exists.

Trading Operations

We offer an One Stop Shop solution to enable companies in developing and expanding trading activities across borders. We combine strategic insight with operational execution to help products find their way into the right markets. Beyond advising, we actively support the commercial process, from identifying opportunities to establishing sustainable trading relationships.

Japan Expertise

Japan requires a dedicated approach. Business culture, decision-making and networks operate differently than in most Western markets. JOSSHA provides practical guidance and local insight, helping organizations operate effectively in and with Japan. From major cities to rural regions, our connections provide access where it matters. Our strength lies in combining strategic understanding with long-term relationships and cultural awareness.

Frequently
Asked Questions

What does "JOSSHA" stand for?

+
-

JOSSHA is inspired by a popular Japanese expression.
It resembles よっしゃ (Yossha), a well-known Japanese exclamation for “Let’s go!”. This symbolizes the perseverance, strength and enthusiasm with which JOSSHA operates!

JOSSHA believes in progress. Especially when it gets steep. We guide leaders and organizations upward. Not by pushing, but by providing direction and igniting courage.

Together we own the climb.

How do the three expertises relate to each other?

+
-

Our expertises work together as an ecosystem. Consultancy boutique provides the strategic foundation, Trading operations handles practical execution and market connections, while Japan operations forms the cultural bridge and provides access to the Japanese market.

For example, a client can start with strategic advice, grow into international trading opportunities, and ultimately enter the Japanese market specifically – all within one cohesive trajectory.

What does the bison symbol stand for?

+
-

The bison represents how we operate under pressure.

In a storm, a bison doesn’t run from turbulence, it moves toward it. By facing resistance directly, it shortens the storm.

That is how JOSSHA approaches complexity. We move toward the core of the issue. Where decisions stall. Where tension builds. Where clarity is required.

The bison stands for decisiveness, resilience, and controlled strength. Not aggression, but deliberate forward motion.

It doesn’t rush. It moves with purpose.

A symbol of leadership in moments that matter.

Why a boutique and not a large consultancy?

+
-

Large firms offer scale. We offer depth. With JOSSHA, you get undivided attention, fast alignment and an advisor who is personally committed to your outcome.

Who do you typically work with?

+
-

Leaders and entrepreneurs who are done with generic advice. People who carry real responsibility, for an organisation, a business, a decision that cannot afford to go wrong.

They come from different worlds: founders scaling beyond their comfort zone, executives in governments or institutions navigating political complexity, international businesses entering unfamiliar markets.

What they share: they need a partner who thinks with them, not for them.
